A few weeks ago we were in E-town to celebrate Sir-Sir's birthday (Chance's Granddaddy). We had a low country boil at my in-law's house and had a great time. Joanna came and she serenaded us with her great voice!! Joanna has been in Music City for a few years and is currently on a radio tour right now getting ready to release her cd in August!! We are so excited for JO!!!

Beach

In June we had a great time at the beach with Chance's family. Chance's mom always takes great pictures and shares them with me so I have gotten terrible at taking pictures when she is around.

He didn't quit make it to eating at the restaurant though. LOL. He had too much fun on our first day at the beach.

(We split up our family beach trip this year with all the men working in the family business. Chance's brother, his wife and little boy came later in the week. Next year T and I might stay the whole week. We missed Jo as her Nashville career is taking off!! Chance's cousin Savannah was there but some how I don't have any pictures with her. So sorry Vannah.)

One night we played Putt-Putt and Tucker won. However, I will say MeMe and Papa were keeping score so I actully was the winner. Tucker did get a hole in one on his own!! We were all very impressed!!

On our last night there, we went down to Pier Park. Daddy rode the train with Tuck...

Aunt Kella rode the airplanes with Tuck. These are the same rides from the original Miracle Strip that Daddy, Aunt Kella and Uncle Barret grew up going to and enjoying.

I rode the carousel with him but do not have a picture documentation of that.
One night Chance and I even got a date night!! That's always fun to have a dinner with just the two of us. Thank you MeMe and PaPa for a fun beach trip!!

4th of July and birthday

First of all, I just want to thank the men and women who continue to fight for our great country of America to insure that what our Founding Fathers put into place stays in place.
Thank you to those who sacrifice spending time with his or her family to keep my family safe. I can't imagine not having my husband here with me with everynight and yet our military spouses spend months without theirs. My heart goes out to you and I greatly appreciate you keeping us safe.

Our July fun started out with watching fireworks in our back yard on the 1st!!


Then on the 2nd we travelled to Dublin to spend time with my family for my birthday!! (we saw fireworks on the way)

Then on July 3rd we went out to eat with my family for my birthday and then went back to Mom and Dad's for cake.

We came back from Dublin on the 4th. T and I enjoyed having Daddy home on the 5th and getting somethings done around the house. That night, T's MeMe and Papa came to take me out for dinner and brought a wonderful chocolate cake!! T didn't know his baby cousin was coming along with his Uncle Barret and Aunt Beth!! We had a wonderful time but did miss Aunt Kella to complete the Stephenson Crew.

Husband Down

A husband and wife are shopping in their local Wal-Mart. The husband picks up a case of Miller Lite and puts it in their cart. 'What do you think you're doing?' asks the wife. 'They're on sale, only $10 for 24 cans he replies. 'Put them back, we can't afford them demands the wife, and so they carry on shopping.

A few aisles further on along the woman picks up a $20 jar of face cream (although, we know this www.beautipage.com/averybc is the best place to get face cream) and puts it in the basket. What do you think you're doing?' asks the husband. 'It’s my face cream. It makes me look beautiful,' replies the wife. Her husband retorts: 'So does 24 cans of Lite and it's half the price.'

On the PA system: 'Cleanup on aisle 25, we have a husband down.'
