I have took took this blog post from BeautiControl's Vice President of Marketing and Research and Development. So here is the recap of Gary's amazing experience in NYC.
Just to give you a little background on how this came about, our good friend, Ali Landry contacted me to tell me that she was premiering her new Bell Parish collection at the Style 360 Fashion Show during Fashion Week and had requested that BeautiControl be her official cosmetic sponsor for the event. Well, there was one stipulation...if we were going to sponsor Ali's Belle Parish, we would have to also be the cosmetic sponsor for all 11 of the shows during the week. As you can imagine, we jumped on the opportunity and quickly prepared ourselves for what was going to be a whirlwind event.
To be the cosmetic sponsor for all the shows, we had to supply gift bags for all the shows, products for celebrity and editor SWAG bags as well as provide the makeup and makeup artists for each of the shows.
We were given an "activation" area next to the runway where we set up couches for interviews, product displays and signage. I have to admit, out of the 6 overall sponsors for the event, we had the most fabulous area of everyone.
Each day, we prepared gift bags for each show (3 to 4 shows a day), then handed out product samples in our "activation" area to everyone that came by. We did a number of interviews and met a ton of incredible media contacts, as well as celebrities who immediately fell in love with BeautiControl. It was an amazing "coming out" party for BeautiControl and a great way to re-introduce ourselves to some of the most influential people in the fashion and cosmetic industry. I think you will see a TON of press come out after this event, so be on the lookout for more to come in the near future as we make our mark as a leader in the skin care and beauty industry.
I am so proud of my team, Staci Schroeder and Karissa Schuler, who joined me there. You can't imagine how hard these ladies worked to ensure that BeautiControl was on the lips of every woman (and quite a few men) at the event.
Also, a big shout out to Ali Landry and the Belle Parish team...Annie Kate, Sonia and Katie...you guys ROCK!! The Belle Parish show was BY FAR the most fun show of the entire event. The house was PACKED and everyone had a blast! BeautiControl was so proud to sponsor your show and look forward to many great events with you all in the future.

Every designer had a different makeup look that they wanted to achieve for their fashions, so we put our BeautiControl cosmetics to the test...and passed with FLYING colors. Not only did our makeup prove to be versatile enough to go from very natural to VERY dramatic, the models, makeup artist and the designers were WOW'd at the quality and range of our cosmetics. Our head makeup artist said she has never used a line of cosmetics that was so complete and had such a wide range of color offerings for EVERY look and EVERY skin tone! Okay that's all from Gary's post, this is Blakely talking now. I think my favorite parts of the video were seeing Ali Landry, Denise Richards, Caroline Manzo from the New Jersey Housewives and Alex McCord from the New York Housewives!! Way to go BeautiControl!! Beautiful Skin. Beautiful Life.
