Fun Weekend

We had such a fun weekend!!!
Friday afternoon, Tuck and I went to the new Auburn/Opelika airport and watched planes landing.

(Please excuse his outfit... I decided it wasn't worth fighting on Friday and he picked out what he wanted to wear.)

By the AU plane

My wonderful college roommate came into town for the Auburn/South Carolina game and stayed with us!!! We loved having Aunt Bailey in-town. We hope she comes back soon!!! Aunt Bailey joined us in Downtown Auburn for the Block Party. We enjoyed pizza at Little Italy, danced to the band and shopped.

T even wanted to get his face painted...

He wanted a Tiger face

Giving us a "ROAR"

Saturday mid-morning/afternoon we met my parents and T went with them to spend a few days so Chance and I could go to the game. After we met my parents we headed to campus to do a little tailgating before the game.

Great friends tailgating!!

Thank you Ashley for inviting us to tailgate with you and your family!!

Disney Cruise

My parents took us on a wonderful family vaction... a Disney Cruise!! We all had a fabulous time. I would highly recommend a Disney Cruise. Customer service is of utmost importance to them. It is like being at Chick-fil-a 24/7. We left on Wednesday, Septmeber the 8th to head to Port Canaveral, Florida and returned on Sunday, the 12th. We did the 4 day, 3 night cruise because we didn't know how T would respond to being on a boat but he did great and LOVED every minute of it. The shows that we saw everynight were fabulous!! We saw The Golden Mickeys, Toy Store and Disney Dreams.

When asked what his favorite part was Tuck said seeing all the character!!!

I think the pictures say it all... WARNING!!! LOTS OF PICTURES TO FOLLOW!!

Tuck did get his picture taken with all the characters I just didn't get a copy of Goofy and Minnie on my camera.

Catching up... Labor Day Weekend

On the Sunday before Labor Day, after church, we headed to Lake Eufaula for a relaxing afternoon in the boat. We had a wonderful time with Mr. Ted and "Miss" Ashley. We enjoyed tubing and skiing!! We are so glad they were able to go with us and can't wait to do it again!! We will have to go more next year!!

I can't believe I left my camera in the car. I only have this one picture from the day that I took from my blackberry.

Nashville with Aunt Kella and Joanna Smith

After our fun weekend in Huntsville Tuck and I headed to Nashville. Aunt Kella was so sweet to meet Chance with us a little north of Huntsville. This way Tuck and I wouldn't be coming home on Sunday just to go back through Huntsville on Monday to get to Nashville. Thank you so much Aunt Kella for meeting us and letting us crash at your house!!!
Tuck and I had a blast in Nashville!! We hung at Aunt Kella's Sunday night and then went to work with her Monday!! Tuck met lots of awesome people in the music industry!!
Aunt Kella's office is in the same building as Nelson Larkin. He was so nice and invited T into his office to have his picture taken with the RCA dog.

Nelson Larkin is a producer and has worked with many artists. Toby Keith is one of them.
Then Dallas Davidson came in (he co-wrote Luke Bryan's song "Rain is a Good Thing" and Tuck sang it for him). Dallas has written lots of hit songs like Joe Nichols song "Gimme That Girl". Check out the official page of Dallas here and his myspace here.
Also while at Aunt K's office Rhett Akin walked in (he co-wrote Luke Bryan's song "Rain is a Good Thing" and Tuck also sang it for him) and we got to talk with him. In addition to writing songs he also has several cds out. He had the great song "That Ain't My Truck". Check out Rhett's offical page here and myspace here.

Since I grew-up in the heart of Georgia, I love that Dallas and Rhett are both Georgia boys!! Plus, they were so nice and down to earth. Two very nice guys!!

Okay so all that fun was on Monday.

Then on Tuesday Tuck and I were asked to me in Joanna's first music video for her first single released "Gettin' Married"!!! It was so fun to be on set all day Tuesday and I can't wait to see how the video turns out!! I hope Tuck and I make the cut. LOL.
Be listening for Joanna's song on the radio!! Available on I-tunes tomorrow!! Check out here page here. Jo is Chance's cousin and Tuck and I are honored to be in here first video!! Be looking on CMT for the video debut in late September or early October!! Trey Fanjoy directed the video and she is fabulous!! I can't wait to see how she puts the video together. Trey has directed videos for (just to name a few) George Strait, Reba, Miranda Lambert, Lee Ann Womack, Jamie O'Neal, Keith Urban and Joanna Smith!! Trey has also directed movies too; check out her credits here and her bio here.

We had a great time in Nashville and can't wait to go back!!
