July was a big month. We also celebrated our anniversary!! We stayed in that night and I cooked Chance's favorite dish... Spaghetti Casserole. However, I did get out our fine china, silver and waterford (looking at the pictures more closely- I should have gotten out our good placemates too). My how things change, usually we go out for our anniversary but it was fun to just have a night at home to chill with my boys.
I love you Chance and look forward to the many, many more years we have to share together!! Happy late Birthday to my sweet husband. The 19th was his birthday and we enjoyed a fun time in Eufaula with his family and mine came to eat too.

Playing Catch-up
Okay, I told you I was way behind. So I'm going to start with July. Lots happened in July. My birthday, trip to Tucson, our anniversary and a trip to Dallas. It was such a fun whirlwind that I might have left something out but I'll catch you up when I think of it.
Here is a picture of my birthday when Chance's family came to town and took us out to eat at the Olive Garden (one of my favorites).
It's fun to have two birthday cakes (above picture from the Stepheson's picture below from my parents)!!
So after my birthday came a fun trip to Tucson, Arizona. This was the first time I had been to Arizona so it was very interesting. Mom and I went for a BeautiControl BootCamp event by Stacy Atnip (a Senior Director in BC that has fabulous ideas). While we were there, Mom and I were able to visit with "Miss" Lynn Budjenska and her daughter Nicole. We had a fabulous time as Nicole and I are close to the same age and our moms have known each other since we were babies. "Miss" Lynn is a Senior National Executive Director with BeautiControl. I plan on being where she is one day. Check out her story here
Nicole, Me, "Miss" Lynn and Mom
We stayed at the fabulous JW Marriott Starr Pass. Mom and I even enjoyed a massage while we were there!! We had a fabulous girlfriend weekend!! I love that my mom is now my best friend (growing up she was not my friend, she was my mother). We had fun then but she was still my mother who disciplined me when I got out of line and held my feet to the fire. She still keeps me in-line and holds my feet to the fire but she is also my best friend now. Funny how when I became a wife and mother she got so much smarter from when I was in high school. LOL.
Back to our trip, I loved all the decor!!
This was the lobby..

Also while we were in Arizona I went somewhere with my mom I thought the two of us would never go... we went to a club together. Yes, you read right. I'm pretty sure we were the only two non-drinking people there that were not dancing with people we didn't know. Mom and I got close enough to take pictures but then found a table to sit at to enjoy the show. We just went to the Glass Cactus (which was part of the resort) because Joe Nichols was playing there and with our room key we got in free!!! I forgot how many hits he has. He was great and we got really close as you can see in the following pictures.
This blog post is long enough so I will blog about the rest tomorrow.

I'm an Aunt!!
Okay so as I said before, I am way behind on my blogging but I'm going to try and blog everyday so I can catch-up. That means my blogs may be very random.
Like my title says I'm an Aunt for the first time!! Forrest arrived on November 19th. Chance and I went to visit him at the hospital but Tucker didn't get to see him until he came home. With the swine flu and the warnings about taking small children to the hospital because of H1N1 I didn't want to risk it. He is precious and Tucker loves him.
Tuck is ready for him to be able to play. I can tell they are going to be big buddies!!

Christmas Tree
I know, long time no blog. We have been crazy busy but if you know me well you know I LOVE it!!
Christmas is so fun this year!! Tucker is all into it and gets it this year. It's so fun to see Christmas from a child's view.
When Chance and I got married we started the tradition of going to Lakeside Christmas Tree Farm in Crawford and picking out a tree and then cutting it down. It's something we all look forward to every year.
Tucker and Daddy with "the tree"
Tuck and Mommy before we cut down "the tree"
They let Tucker sit on the tractor and of course he was beside himself
Watching them shake the tree

Martha Stewart
I am a Martha Stewart wanna be. LOL. All except the jail part. I don't want to go to jail. However, I do think Martha Stewart is very talented and love some of her things. I have enjoyed getting her magazine, that I used some of Chance's flyer mile to get free, for some great seasonal projects, recipes and tablescapes.
If you know me well, you know that I am not creative or artistic at all. My stick people have trouble- seriously.
I thought that Tuck and I could handle this cute little pumpkin that Martha even gave us templates for on her website.
Here is Martha's finished product...
Daddy and Tucker painting the ball (kept calling it a pumpkin but Tuck called it a ball until he saw the finished product and now he calls it a pumpkin)
I thought it turned out cute!!

Trick or Treat
Okay, so of course I am behind but I did want to share what Tuck was for Halloween. This was the first year that we have actually been trick or treating. Every other year we have gone to downtown Auburn for their event on trick or treating night but this year Tucker understood the concept. Since he did understand we went to Ashton Lakes which was wonderful. Everyone was so nice to Tucker and Tuck did so good. He would walk up to the door say "twicker tweet" and then when they gave him candy he would say thank you. It was so sweet to watch him and he really enjoyed it. Plus I loved looking at the houses. There are some gorgeous houses in Ashton Lakes (just an added perk for mommy).

My growing pumpkin
From my previous post, you saw where we went to the pumpkin patch. Well every year since we've been married, Chance has carved a pumpkin and we've had a photo opt in the same place. It's so fun to see Tuck change over the years and he is able to help more and more every year. Daddy said Tuck did a great job at picking out a pumpkin that it was perfect for carving. Tuck even stuck his hand down in it and helped Daddy pull the "guts" of the pumpkin out.
2009- Notice we are in big boy pants. Tuck is doing great!! I took his clothes off so he wouldn't get pumpkin all over himself since he was helping Daddy.
Tucker was also very found of the little "punkin" he got at the pumpkin patch.

Pumpkin Patch
Yesterday, Tucker and I went to the Farmer in the Dell Pumpkin Patch with some friends and had a great time.
We walked the corn maze even though we ran into some dead ends. Tucker was our fearless leader and instead of calling it dead ends he started saying, "Woops, it's another dead." in his most southern accent.
In the corn maze...
Completed the corn maze...
Looking for the perfect pumpkin...
Who knew playing in corn could be so fun...
Hay ride...
Photo on the hay...
We had a great time at your Pumpkin Patch "Mr." Mark!!! Can't wait to go back next year!!

Last Friday
Last Friday Tuck and I had a wonderful time with "Miss" Addie and Libby. We started with lunch at Chick-fil-a. Then we took Tuck and Libby to Petco to look at the animals. I think their favorite was finding nemo.
This is when we just arrived at Petco and they were too busy to stop for a picture so I had to grab it quickly!!
This is when we were in the little enclosed area with the birds. I love Tuck's face, he was telling me the birds were being too loud.
Hope everyone has a wonderful Friday and great weekend!!!!
