What Children Say

My BeautiControl has grown so, thanks to the Lord and the doors He has opened for me, that I am starting to need help with Tucker. So when I have lots going on I'm so fortunate to have my Mom and Dad 3 hours away and Chance's mom and dad an hour & 1/2 away. My mom works for her self and so do Chance's parents so I'm very thankful that they can keep Tucker for me during the week when I call them in advanced so they can plan around Tucker. They are so wonderful though and even when I call in a tight they drop what they are doing to be able to spend time with Tuck. So last night we met my parents and swapped Tucker. Even though I have been very busy today and gotten a lot accomplished, I have missed my little helper. Needless to say, I had to call and talk to him to hear that sweet little voice and of course Mom had some stories for me.

Story 1:
Mom is frantically trying to open a new package of Tucker's diapers and she is in a hurry so she tries to open them with a pen. Well it breaks her pen and Mom says, "Well that was stupid, I shouldn't have used a pen." Tucker says, "AHHH, CC you said a bad word, we don't say that world." Mom totally oblivious to the "bad" word she said asks Tucker, "Is stupid a bad word?" Tucker says, "CC you said it again, we don't say that word." I forgot to tell Mom that was now considered stupid a "bad" word at our house as Chance and I would say the word stupid and us it the same way Mom did like that's stupid, etc. Well Tuck picked it up and would say he was stupid, I was stupid, etc. so we had to just make it a "bad" word and not use it anymore.

Story 2:
Tucker woke up early this morning at Mom and Dad's house and was just being bad Mom said (he must have been being really bad if Mom said he was bad). Mom said he threw a little tantrum so she told him she was leaving the room and he could come with her when he stopped being a bad little boy and acting like the sweet Tucker he is. He then finishes his little fit and then walks into the next room where mom is and says, "That bad little boy gone CC, he not come back, I be a sweet Cucker (how it comes out when he says Tucker).

O the things they say. I miss him so much and it he hasn't even been gone 24 hrs. Thankfully, I'm getting him back tomorrow!!

Our wireless internet decided to quit so I have been without internet for several days now on my computer and haven't been able to show picture of Tuck with his new potty because they are on my computer. Thank goodness for my dear friend Ashley Bryant who is helping me fix the problem. I would be lost without her help. Thank you so much Ashley!!

One of my friends, Katie Mantooth's, little boy is participating in the Giggles and Coos (local children's boutique) "Faces" event. The W.H.O. Foundation

As many of you know, I work for myself through BeautiControl and have the wonderful opportunity to relax and de-stress women and share with them ways to make income for their family simply by sharing. I love my career and I love all the BeautiControl has to offer. Last night at Bible Study I had on my W.H.O. shirt that I received from walking in the W.H.O. walk in August at BeautiControl's Celebration Conference. Katherine asked me what the W.H.O. foundation was and I just wanted to share it with everyone. It stands for Women Helping Others and is a philanthropy BeautiControl created 15 years ago. I have the privilege of being my teams chairman for W.H.O. I am happy to say that at our team meeting on Saturday we donated $50!!! If we donate $50 per month that's $600 in a year!! Think of all the lives that will be touched. It is a very easy job as the only thing I do is put together items for the raffle and then send the money into the W.H.O. foundation. I'm excited to see how much money we can raise!! Another great thing about the W.H.O. foundation is the money is used to help organizations that other BeautiControl Consultants are involved in so we know the money is being put to good use helping women and children in need. If you are interested, there are several ways you can help .

Why Use Google - When you can Earn with Swagbucks

Okay, so I have been in Dallas for our Leadership Conference and I am still here. But BeautiControl did come out with fabulous new products. I was supposed to be home Sunday but with all the snow in Atlanta, Mom and I are still here. Our plane leaves at 5:30 in the morning so we are leaving the hotel at 3:30 so I don't think I'm going to bed tonight. So I thought I'd catch up on my blog. I took this post from my good friend Ashley's blog. She has started at blog just for ways to save money in lee county. It is very informative.
Why Use Google - When you can Earn with Swagbucks

Search & Win

How many times during a day do you go to Google and search for things? If you are anything like me - then that is multiple times. Let me introduce you to a site called Swagbucks.com. It is a site where you can earn points (which equals $$ in your pockets) while you search. This site is powered by Google - so when you search here you receive the same returns as you would by using Google.

What are the benefits?
- The main benefit is that you receive points for using this search engine site and then you can trade your points in their 'store' to receive items.

What items are available?
- Just about anything that you can think of -- Gift Cards are my favorite

How do I earn points so I can get free things too?
- Go to this link and register (It's Free) : www.swagbucks.com
- I suggest that you make it your default site to search with so that you will break the habit of going to Google.com

If you have any questions - please ask!
