I recently read, I went back to try and find where and exactly what I read and couldn't find it, where you shouldn't run your washing machine and dryer between the hours of 2-6 p.m. CST during the summer. Since I couldn't find the exact article, here is what I took away from it....
Don't run your washer and dryer between these hours because that is when it is typically the hottest in your house because of the sun.
By not running these applicances during those times the heat doesn't build up in your house and make your air kick on and have to work that much harder.
Air not working as hard to cool your house = lower power bill!!!
